El nuevo album de Sharleen es "THE GREAT MOVIE SONGBOOK" ("El gran cancionero del cine") se editará a principios de Marzo. Es un disco lleno de versiones de canciones de películas. Se grabó en 4 días en los Estudios Capitol en Los Ángeles y las cuerdas se grabaron en los estudios de Abbey Road. El nombre de su grupo Texas, como sabéis, vino de la película París, Texas y las películas siempre han sido una gran influencia para ellos a lo largo de su carrera. Sharleen siempre le ha gustado probar diferentes cosas como versiones en vivo en conciertos y de aquí vino su idea para el álbum. También se dice que empezarán a trabajar en un nuevo disco de Texas. Estrenó canciones en la TV británica el 31-12-09.

Sharleen's new album "THE GREAT MOVIE SONGBOOK" will be released early March. It's an album filled with covers of movie songs. It was recorded in 4 days at Capital Studios in Los Angeles and strings where recorded at the Abbey Road studios. The band name Texas, as you know, came from the movie Paris, Texas and movies have always been a big influence to Texas throughout their carreer. Sharleen always loved to try different things like live covers at the concerts, and this is where the idea for the movie songs album came from. It's also said they'll start to work on a new Texas album. She premiered songs on British TV on 31-12-09.
