"MUSIC & LYRICS" ("Música y letra"), película de 2007 con Hugh Grant y Drew Barrymore, cuenta la historia de un antiguo ídolo del pop (Alex Fletcher, del grupo ficticio Pop!, una copia de Wham!) que es Hugh Grant en su lucha por componer un hit para una diva del pop actual. En esta película Hugh ¡canta! Hoy incluimos una de esas actuaciones.

"MUSIC & LYRICS", film from 2007 with Hugh Grant & Drew Barrymore, tells the story of a former pop idol (Alex Fletcher, from fictional band Pop!, similar to Wham!) who is Hugh Grant in his stuggle to write a hit for a reigning pop diva. Volvemos al film "Notting Hill" para recordar otro tema de su banda sonora, la versión que hizo el dúo británico The Lighthouse Family de un clásico de Bill Withers "AIN'T NO SUNSHINE WHEN SHE'S GONE" ("No hay sol cuando ella no está"). Y la recordamos con el video oficial del dúo y el video donde suena en la película que hábilmente muestra en imágenes el paso de un año mientras Hugh Grant se pasea por Notting Hill. We revist the film "Notting Hill" to remember another song from its soundtrack, the cover version by British duo The Lighthouse Family of the Bill Withers classic "AIN'T NO SUNSHINE WHEN SHE'S GONE". El grupo californiano que representa al verano, al windsurf y los años '60, los Beach Boys, han inspirado a muchos compositores... (Benny Andersson los incluye como grupo referente) y su canción "GOD ONLY KNOWS" ("Sólo Dios sabe") [1966] fue elegido, hace pocos meses, uno de los temas más importantes de la historia de la música pop en una encuesta hecha por El País entre los más relevantes cantantes y compositores hispanoamericanos. Aquí lo traemos por su conexión con el cine, donde aparece como final de "LOVE ACTUALLY" ("Realmente amor")

The Californian group that represents summer, windsurfing and the '60s, the Beach Boys, have inspired many composers... (Benny Andersson includes them as a reference band) and their song "GOD ONLY KNOWS" [1966] was elected, a few months ago, one of the most important songs in the history of pop music in a questionnaire done by the newspaper El Pais among the most relevant Spanish & Latinamerican singers and composers. We bring it here for its connections with cinema, where it appears as the final credits for "LOVE ACTUALLY".

[B.S.O] HABRÁ BRIDGET JONES 3 / There'll be a third Bridget Jones film

Mañana por la noche La1 de TVE proyectará la segunda película de la saga de Bridget Jones, en la misma semana que se confirmó que habrá una tercera parte con Renée Zellweger en su papel de Bridget, ahora con la problemática de que quiere ser madre. No se ha confirmado si Colin Firth o Hugh Grant estarán. Ambas películas también se distinguieron por tener buena música, incluimos aquí canciones de su banda sonora.

English version

Tomorrow night the first channel of TVE broadcasts the second film in the Bridget Jones saga, in the same week when a third film has been announced with Renée Zellweger in her Bridget role, now with the drama of wishing to become a mum.
