Como estábamos con "CHIQUITITA", pues seguimos. Cuando hablamos de Sinnead O'Connor y su clásico "NC2U", os dijimos que la irlandesa volvería a asomarse por el blog, ya que había realizado versiones curiosas. Ésta es la primera, Sinnead la grabó en 1998 para el album "ACROSS THE BRIDGE OF HOPE" ("Cruzando el puente de la esperanza"), un disco benéfico para las 28 personas muertas en el ataque terrorista de Omagh del mismo año. Como vemos la canción nació para la beneficencia. También podéis ver el video original de Abba.

As we were talking about "CHIQUITITA", let's continue. When we talked about Sinnead O'Connor and her classic "NC2U", we said that this Irish singer would appear again on the blog, as she had done several cover versions. This is the first one, Sinnead recorded it in 1998 for the album "ACROSS THE BRIDGE OF HOPE", a benefit record for the 28 people who died in the terrorist bombing in Omagh that same year. Polémica cantante irlandesa que se hizo famosa por esta canción, ahora todo un clásico, compuesto por Prince. Una canción conmovedora y un video impactante con la cantante calva llenando toda la pantalla hasta la última lágrima. Incluimos además del video original del tema, una pequeña entrevista más reciente con ella, cuando reeditó el álbum que contiene esta canción, y donde ella admite que esta canción sigue siendo su favorita. No hemos seguido mucho a esta cantante, esta canción es de lo mejor de ella, próximamente volverá a aparecer por aquí por alguna versión curiosa que ha hecho de canciones que nos gustan...

We include the original video of the song, and a small recent interview by her, when she re-released the album that contains this song, and where she admits that this song is still her favourite. We haven't followed her much, this song is the best of hers, but soon she'll appear round here because of some curious cover versions she's done of songs that we like...
