Hoy 21-Junio es el día de la Música, y por ello vamos a dar las gracias de que la haya. La canción más agradecida que hemos recordado es, como no, "THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC" ("Gracias por la música") de Abba, pero nos hemos encontrado con varias versiones, entre ellas una de The Carpenters.

Todo ello presentado en un estuche de doble CD con el famoso logo de Carpenters en plata. El álbum se publica en España el 9 de febrero. Formado por los hermanos Karen y Richard Carpenter, se han vendido más de 100 millones de copias de sus discos en todo el mundo. Durante sus catorce años de carrera (1969-1983), The Carpenters grabaron once álbumes, cinco de los cuales contuvieron sencillos de éxito, e hicieron giras por los Estados Unidos, Japón, Australia, Países Bajos y Bélgica.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of their first record "TICKET TO RIDE", The Carpenters release a new compilation album. "CARPENTERS 40/40" contains all their greatest hits. All in a double CD box with the famous Carpenters logo in silver. The album will be released in Spain on February, 9th. The duo formed by the siblings Karen & Richard Carpenter, have sold more than 100 million records throughout the world. During their 14-year career (1969-1983), The Carpenters recorded eleven albums, five of which had single hits and they toured round the USA, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands & Belgium.
