Otro adelanto del acústico de Keane de su recopilatorio de éxitos "SNOWED UNDER" ("Nevado por debajo") y "BEDSHAPED" ("En forma de cama"). Precioso. Además Keane ha confirmado que se va a “tomar un descanso” después de la publicación de su álbum de grandes éxitos.

El periódico británico The Sun on Sunday publicó el 20 de octubre, que la banda inglesa se separaba definitivamente después de dieciséis años. Sin embargo, un portavoz oficial del grupo ha matizado esa información asegurando que la separación sólo será temporal para que los componentes de Keane puedan trabajar en sus proyectos en solitario. El cantante Tom Chaplin va a grabar un álbum y el compositor Tim Rice-Oxley quiere centrarse en escribir canciones para otros artistas, como ya hizo en su momento con Gwen Stefani y Kylie Minogue. The British newspaper The Sun On Sunday published on October 20th, that the English band was definitely breaking up after 16 years. The group's spokesperson has commented on the news assuring that it will only be a temporal standby so that the member in Keane can work on their solo projects. The singer Tom Chaplin is going to record an album and the composer Tim Rice-Oxley wants to concentrate on writing songs for other artists, as he has already done with Gwen Stefani and Kylie Minogue. UK CHARTS 60º ANNIVERSARY: +10m SINGLES VENDIDOS / +10m SINGLES SOLD

No sólo la reina de Inglaterra está de jubileo de diamante, también las listas de éxito británicas. Y acaban de hacer oficial la lista de artistas que han vendido más singles en estos 60 años. Aquí incluímos los 12 primeros encabezados por los Beatles, con Elvis 2ª, y Abba 8º. 

Not only the Queen of England has her Diamond Jubilee, also the British singles chart. And they've just made official the list of artists who have sold more singles in these 60 years. Here is the top 12 topped by the Beatles, with Elvis 2nd and Abba 8th.

The Official Charts Company today unveils the Diamond Dozen – the 12 artists who have sold more than 10m singles in the history of the UK ‘s Official Singles Chart.

This definitive list of chart royalty is published to coincide with the Diamond Jubilee of both Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the UK’s Official Singles Chart - both celebrating 60 glorious years of heritage in 2012.

In November 1952, five months after Queen Elizabeth II took the throne, the first ever Official Singles Chart was published in the New Musical Express. To mark this joint Jubilee, the Official Charts Company has compiled the definitive list of the biggest singles artists of all time.

The list reveals The Beatles at the top, having sold the most chart singles over the past 60 years in the UK, followed by Elvis Presley and Sir Cliff Richard – all three have sold more than 20m.

Os dejamos un video con Kylie cantando "ALL THE LOVERS", cierre del concierto de Barcelona. Y además un video curioso de ella cantando en un programa de Antena 3 hace algunos años ante la cúpula aburrida del PP. El público barcelonés disfrutó más...
