KEANE EN / on STANBY + ACOUSTIC VIDEOS

Otro adelanto del acústico de Keane de su recopilatorio de éxitos "SNOWED UNDER" ("Nevado por debajo") y "BEDSHAPED" ("En forma de cama"). Precioso. Además Keane ha confirmado que se va a “tomar un descanso” después de la publicación de su álbum de grandes éxitos.

El periódico británico The Sun on Sunday publicó el 20 de octubre, que la banda inglesa se separaba definitivamente después de dieciséis años. Sin embargo, un portavoz oficial del grupo ha matizado esa información asegurando que la separación sólo será temporal para que los componentes de Keane puedan trabajar en sus proyectos en solitario. El cantante Tom Chaplin va a grabar un álbum y el compositor Tim Rice-Oxley quiere centrarse en escribir canciones para otros artistas, como ya hizo en su momento con Gwen Stefani y Kylie Minogue. The group's spokesperson has commented on the news assuring that it will only be a temporal standby so that the member in Keane can work on their solo projects. The singer Tom Chaplin is going to record an album and the composer Tim Rice-Oxley wants to concentrate on writing songs for other artists, as he has already done with Gwen Stefani and Kylie Minogue. "BEST OF KEANE" CD

Keane anuncia un recopilatorio para el 11 de noviembre al celebrar sus diez años en la música. Aparecerá en tres posibles formatos: 1 CD (con 18 éxitos favoritos de los fans+ 2 temas nuevos), 2 CDs (deluxe edition con un CD de caras B) y la versión super deluxe (con un DVD acústico y libro). Los dos temas nuevos son: "HIGHER THAN THE SUN" ("Más alto que el sol") y "WON'T BE BROKEN" ("No se romperá").

Keane announces a compilation for November 11th to celebrate their ten years in music.
