En plena pandemia, Cher anuncia su versión en español del clásico de Abba "CHIQUITITA". Es la primera vez que la diva canta en español. El video de la canción se estrenará el próximo día 8 de mayo en el streaming de un especial virtual benéfico de UNICEF Won't Stop. En este programa participó también Björn Ulvaeus.

In the midst of the pandemic, Cher announces her Spanish version of Abba's classic "CHIQUITITA". It's the first time the diva sings in Spanish. The video of the song will be premiered on May 8th on the streaming of special virtual coronavirus relief of UNICEF Won't Stop. Björn Ulvaeus took part in this programme.

CHER'S "S.O.S." VIDEO

A una semana de la edición del álbum de versiones, Cher presenta el vídeo de "S.O.S.", donde ella no aparece, pero si un gran elenco de mujeres, Betty Who y Trace Lysette, entre otras... Pero el vídeo sobre todo es un homenaje a las mujeres y a Abba. A Abba por la puesta en escena, las referencias a sus videos e imagen y por dobles de Agnetha y Frida. De promoción Cher también interpretó la canción en el programa de Ellen DeGeneres.

A week before the release of her cover album, Cher presents the "S.O.S." video, where she doesn't appear, but who feature a big group of women, Betty Who and Trace Lysette, among others.... But the video is specially a tribute to women and to Abba. To Abba by the settings, the reference to their videos and image and the Agnetha & Frida doubles. On promotion Cher also performed the song on Ellen DeGeneres's programme.

Parece confirmarse que la cantante Cher (71) estará en "Mamma Mia-2!", lo ha comentado via Twitter. Ella está en Londres estos días, donde se está rodando la película, además de en Crocia. Interpretará el papel de madre de Donna y se comenta que ha estado ensayando bailes y se comenta "FERNANDO", como la canción que interpretará. Será su regreso al cine después de varias películas y el Oscar a mejor actriz que ganó en 1988.

Singer Cher (71) seems to confirm she'll be in "Mamma Mia-2!", she has commented via Twitter. She is in London these days, where the film is being shot, as also in Croatia. She'll be playing the role of Donna's mother and it's said she's been rehearsing dances and "FERNANDO" has been mentioned as the song she'll be performing. It will mean her comeback to cinema after several films and the Oscar for best actress in 1988.

Anoche se celebró en Madrid la gala de entrega de los Premios 40 Principales 2010. Poco que reseñar entre los galadonados como música que nos gusta, salvo la entrega del premio honorífico de toda una carrera a Cher. Además actuaciones de Nena Daconte y Juanes. Pero hoy homenajeamos a Cher con dos de sus mejores temas en video, el video de la entrega y el trailer de su nueva película "BURLESQUE" con Christina Aguilera que ha venido a promocionar en su estreno en España este fin de semana.

Last night the 40 Principales 2010 award-gala was held in Madrid. Little to tell about awards of music that we like, except for the life-honour award to her whole career to Cher. Apart from perfformances by Nena Daconte & Juanes. But today we pay tribute to Cher with two of her greatest hits on video, the video of the reception of her award. and the railer of her latest film "BURLESQUE" with Christina Aguilera which she has come to promote in its premiere in Spain this weekend.

CHRISSIE HYNDE TRABAJA EN SOLITARIO / Chrissie Hynde going solo ["I GOT YOU BABE", Sonny & Cher, UB40+Chrissie Hynde]

Parece ser que la líder de los Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde, está trabajando en un disco en solitario. Lo califica como su “mejor álbum en solitario hasta la fecha”, aunque no ha publicado ningún disco a su nombre, pero quizás entiende que los discos de Pretenders eran de ella, que en la práctica lo eran. “Estoy trabajando muy estrechamente con el productor JP Jones, quien es una gran inspiración para mí. Este disco va a ser increíble”. Sobre la fecha de publicación, comenta: “No hay límite de tiempo, así que se publicará cuando esté listo, aunque esperó que sea este año”. Para ilustrar esta noticia incluimos el video de su colaboración al margen del grupo con la banda UB40 y su versión de "I GOT YOU BABE" ("Te tengo a ti cariño"), que antes hicieran Sonny y Cher.

It seems that Pretender's leader, Chrissie Hynde, is working on a solo-album. She says it's "the best solo-album she's done up to now", though she hasn't ever released one, but maybe she understands that Pretender's records were hers, too, practically they were. "I'm working together with producer JP Jones, who is great inspiration for me. This record is going to be incredible". About the release date, she says: "There's no time limit, so it'll be published when it's finished, though I hope it'll be this year". To illustrate this piece of news we include the video of her collaboration outside her group with the band UB40 and their cover of "I GOT YOU BABE", which Sonny & Cher had sung previously.
