El grupo californiano que representa al verano, al windsurf y los años '60, los Beach Boys, han inspirado a muchos compositores... (Benny Andersson los incluye como grupo referente) y su canción "GOD ONLY KNOWS" ("Sólo Dios sabe") [1966] fue elegido, hace pocos meses, uno de los temas más importantes de la historia de la música pop en una encuesta hecha por El País entre los más relevantes cantantes y compositores hispanoamericanos. Aquí lo traemos por su conexión con el cine, donde aparece como final de "LOVE ACTUALLY" ("Realmente amor")

The Californian group that represents summer, windsurfing and the '60s, the Beach Boys, have inspired many composers... (Benny Andersson includes them as a reference band) and their song "GOD ONLY KNOWS" [1966] was elected, a few months ago, one of the most important songs in the history of pop music in a questionnaire done by the newspaper El Pais among the most relevant Spanish & Latinamerican singers and composers. We bring it here for its connections with cinema, where it appears as the final credits for "LOVE ACTUALLY".
