In 2020 we have rediscovered the importance of taking care of each other. And we are finding new ways to be together.
With the video ”Happy New Year – a new togetherness”, ABBA The Museum The Choir celebrates hope and a new togetherness, wishing each other – and the world – a Happy New 2021.
”Happy New Year – a new togetherness” is a new take on the classic ABBA song ”Happy New Year” from 1980. The music is arranged for choir by Göran Arnberg, and recorded with ABBA The Museum The Choir and the composer himself Benny Andersson at the piano in his studio RMV.
The video was shot on location at ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, and is produced by Myrén Film.

FRIDA @ ABBA, THE MUSEUM: VISITA DE AYER / Yesterday's visit
Ayer Frida visitó Abba, The Museum de nuevo para ver la nueva exposición permanente. Incluso dicen que se subió a ser el quinto miembro de Abba con los hologramas."Me siento siempre paseando aquí con una sonrisa permanente en mi cara". Se comenta también que haya aprovechado su visita a la ciudad para terminar alguna de las nuevas canciones...
Yesterday Frida visited Abba, The Museum again to see the new permanent exhibition. It's even said that she was the 5th member on stage with the holograms. "I always feel walking around here with a constant smile on my face". Other rumours say she might have been in town to complete some of the new songs...

"AFTER ABBA" CD @ "ABBA THE MUSEUM"
Con motivo de la inauguración de la nueva exposición de Abba The Museum "Some music never dies, it multiplies" que cubre el trabajo post-Abba de todos sus miembros, se ha editado un disco recopilatorio titulado "AFTER ABBA", que recoje una selección de los trabajos de cada uno en este periodo. Disponible en la tienda del museo, aparentemente (ahora, no). Los títulos que se incluyen están más abajo.
Coinciding with the premiere of the new exhibition at Abba The Museum "Some music never dies, it multiplies", which covers the work of each and every member post-Abba, a new compilation CD has been released: "AFTER ABBA", collecting a selection of their work in this period. Available at the museum shop, aparently (right not, it isn't). The songs included are in the tracklist below.

GÓREL HANSER & MIA SEGOLSSON @ THE ABBA FANS CLUB WEEKEND AT THE ABBA MUSEUM, STOCKHOLM
Görel Hanser, actual manager de Abba, y Mia Segolsson, de Universal, acudieron a la cita hoy durante el fin de semana del Club Oficial de Abba en el Abba Museum de Estocolmo. Allí comentaron sobre las nuevas canciones de Abba: "I STILL HAVE FAITH IN YOU" y "DON'T SHUT ME DOWN". Una es una balada y la otra es más rítmica. Una tiene a Agnetha como voz líder y la otra a Frida. Aparecerán en formatos físicos. Y hay fotos del encuentro en el estudio. Su entrevista abajo.
Görel Hanser, current Abba manager, & Mia Segolsson, from Universal, have attended the Offical Abba Fans Club weekend at the Abba Museum, in Stockholm. There, they commented on the new Abba songs: "I STILL HAVE FAITH IN YOU" & "DON'T SHUT ME DOWN". One is a ballad and the other is more uptempo. One has Agnetha in the lead vocals and the other Frida. Cinco años después de la inauguración del museo, se estrena una exposición completa nueva sobre los miembros del grupo en el ABBA The Museum de Estocolmo. Una exposición que muestra todo lo que les ocurrió en los años posteriores a ABBA.
Los visitantes serán transportados a través de décadas de música poniendo el foco en Anni-frid, Björn, Benny y Agnetha. La exposición se inaugura al público el próximo 8 de mayo de 2018.
Five years after the opening of the museum, comes a completely new exhibition about the group’s members at ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, Sweden – an exhibition depicting everything that happened after their years in ABBA.
Visitors are taken on a journey through the decades of music focusing on Anni-Frid, Björn, Benny and Agnetha. The exhibition opens to the public on 8 May 2018.

- Because we pushed our creativity in so many directions after the ABBA years, I think the new exhibition is like a wonderful amusement park. - We never really bade farewell to one another. We wanted to try new things, and the time never seemed right for a reunion. Yet the music has, of course, never left me. Much of what we achieved during the years after ABBA is now presented in the exhibition, says Benny Andersson

Celebrando varios acontecimientos, entre ellos el 10º aniversario de MusiKQMGusta, este verano viajamos hasta Estocolmo, y como no, hicimos una parada en Abba, The Museum.
Celebrating several events, among them the 10th anniversary of MusicILike, this summer we travelled to Stockholm, and not surprisingly, we made a stop at Abba, The Museum.
Para conseguir las entradas estuvimos haciendo cola durante media hora, eso sí escuchando a Abba:

La primera sala por la que se entra al museo es la dedicada a los 60º años de Eurovisión, que se estrenó en el último festival celebrado en Estocolmo en 2016. Están resaltados los 6 ganadores suecos del festival:
The first hall by which you enter the museum is the one devoted to the 60th years of Eurovision, which was open during the last contest celebrated in Stockholm in 2016. Special highlights for the 6 Swedish winners of the contest:

Luego comienza el paseo por la historia pre-Abba de sus cuatro miembros. Los coches en que los Hep Stars de Benny y los Hootenanny Singers de Björn iba de gira.

Durante nuestra visita en Estocolmo estuvimos en varios lugares relacionados con Abba, muchos lugares de sus sesiones fotográficas y videos, como de Stortorget, jardines Drottingholm. Pasamos por delante de Mono Music, oficinas de Benny en Skeppsholmen, y también de su hotel el 'Rival' en Sodermalm, en barco cerca de la zona donde viven Benny y Björn, el Atelje studio in Skansen, que lamentablemente estaba cerrado. Y muchos otros...
During our visit to Stockholm we were in several Abba related places, many of their photos sessions & videos, such as Stortorget, Drottingholm gardens. We passed by Mono Music, Benny's offices in Skeppsholmen, and also his hotel 'Rival' in Sodermalm, on a boat nearby the area where Benny and Björn live, the Atelje studio in Skansen, which unfortunately was closed.
