It seems that the second part of Roxette's "TOURISM" won't be either "2rism" or "T2" but "TRAVELLING". The album recorded in studios, stages, hotel rooms and other strange places during their 2011 world tour, will be out in March, according to what Per announced today on Facebook, together with the album's sleeve, which you can see. We also report that Roxette received the award given by the Swedish government to the best music export of 2011 for the world tour (In the photo). And to illustrate this post, we've found an extended video of their live performance at Borgholm castle in 1989.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
This year’s music export award-winnig duo celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2011 with one of the biggest tours a Swedish band has ever done. The world tour that began in Russia in February 2011 – and that will extend well into this year – exceeded the forecast for number of tickets sold to over one million. The group has since its start sold over 50 million albums and another 20 million singles, and created some of music history’s greatest hits: It Must Have Been Love, Joyride, The Look, Listen to Your Heart and Dressed for success – just to name a few. After ABBA – Roxette’s the most successful band of all time on the international music scene.

Actualizado + lista de canciones de "Travelling"+ comentarios de Per/Update with "Travelling" songs tracklist+Per's comments:
The tracklist of Travelling has now been revealed in full. See below with comments from Per Gessle:
Me & You & Terry & Julie(Terry & Julie are the two youngsters from the Kinks’ "Waterloo Sunset" but everyone knows that, right??? This is the craziest song we've recorded in ages - and maybe the best?)
Lover Lover Lover
Turn of the Tide (Totally new recording (in Sun City) of a song we never used for Have A Nice Day).
Touched by the Hand of God (Used to be called "Charm School." This track is happier than happy!)
Easy Way Out (A country song).
It's Possible (Rocking version á la "Radio," kicks ass!)
Perfect Excuse (From Party Crasher, this is a duet between Marie and Helena, I was busy checking things out. This version is not slower, but more acoustic).
Excuse Me, Sir, Do You Want Me to Check on Your Wife? (It is one of those songs where we sound like Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers).
Angel Passing (A ballad).
Stars [live from Dubai soundcheck]
The Weight of the World (New fabulous mix of the old track).
She's Got Nothing on (But the Radio) [live in Rio]
See Me (Totally new recording except Marie's vox. It's amazing!!)
It's Possible [version two] (Summer version, in Gyllene Tider's "Hjärta utan hem" arrangement).
It Must Have Been Love [live in Rotterdam] (It's the NOTP strings with new drums by Pelle and new vox by Marie, no guitars or anything... Also amazing!)
"I must say it looks to me like a fine record," says Per to The Daily Roxette.
