Aunque estaba nervioso no lamenta haber participado.
- Fue fantástico ser parte de esto. Me trajo gran alegría.

The shy ABBA-star hasn't appeared on TV for years. But when she was asked to present an award at the Svenska Hjältar Gala she couldn't refuse.
– I always say no when I'm asked. But when this was presented to me I felt that I wanted to take part. It's so inspiring to see people happy. It is nice and I was reminded of how happy I was in the beginning with ABBA, says Anni-Frid.
Even though she was very nervous before she does not regret that she participated.

– It was fantastic to be a part of this. It brought me enormous joy. I got so caught up in the mood that I almost forgot that I had to get up on stage. Up there she presented the life time achievement award to the couple Sam and Stina Dahlgren who have supported the vulnerable, homeless and lonely people in Stockholm for the last 58 years.
– It is just amazing how they have supported others during such a long time, says Anni-Frid. She had to, like many others in the audience, fight back the tears during the gala.
– I sat next to a woman who cried the whole time. I would have too, if I didn't have to get on stage. She was especially touched by 10 year old Liv Kjellberg from Sollenbrunn who fought and won the struggle against bullying at her school. It made Frida remember her own childhood.
– She reminded me of myself. I wasn't bullied, but I was a little on the outside. The fact that she managed to turn the bullying into something positive is just fantastic.

Traducción de su discurso en el video:
Muchas gracias.
Translation of her speech from the video:
Thanks a lot! Wonderful to be here together with you tonight, I hope you are all enjoying yourselves! Since everybody has a need to feel the spirit of togetherness and belonging, it can be very hard and painful to be left alone in life. And it may also be very difficult to get yourself out of that situation. I've been given the pleasure to meet two wondeful people: Stina and Sam, who during almost 60 years have helped and supported youths as well as lonely and homeless people in Sweden. They have done so without any personal economic gain. Through personal commitment, warmth and not least love, they have opened their door to thousands of people and given all of them the chance to feel a little less lonely.
