It has been confirmed that Eva and Juan Aguirre, members of Amaral have entered the studio to record their fifth album. The recording will be done in Madrid, London & New York. The release date is unknown, but it might be together with the premiere of the Expo in their city... Zaragoza.

Ana recibió hoy en Toledo, la medalla de Oro de las Bellas Artes en una ceremonia presidida por los Príncipes de Asturias. Además anuncia una gira por teatros en 2008 que recorrerá las importantes capitales: Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Coruña, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Murcia... que recalá en mayo en el Teatro Gran Vía de Madrid.

Asimismo, el 5 de febrero se editará "No hay nada mejor que escribir una canción" el nuevo disco de su marido Víctor Manuel, quien acaba de publicar un libro "Vivir para cantarlo" que incluye las letras de 500 de sus canciones con comentarios.

Ana has received the Golden Medal of the Arts today in Toledo in a ceremony where the Princes of Asturias were present. She announces a tour in theatres throughtout the country in 2008 including: Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Coruña, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Murcia.... stopping in May in the Gran Vía Theatre in Madrid.

On 5th February, her husband Victor Manuel will be publishing his new album "No hay nada mejor que escribir una canción" ("There's nothing better than writing a song"). He has also just published a book "Vivir para cantarlo" ("Live to sing it") that includes the lyrics of 500 of his songs and some comments.

El disco se llamará "La felicidad", producido como ya adelantamos por Javier Limón, nos presenta una Sole más serena, más pletórica y vitalista. Es todo un renacimiento para ella y cuenta con muchas y buenas colaboraciones: Josemi Carmona (ex Ketama) en las guitarras para "El sol", la armónica de Antonio Serrano en "Volverá a encontrar la ilusión de vivir" y Perico Sambeat es el saxo del primer single "Tan sola". Pero la colaboración más preciada es la de Ana Belén en el tema que da título al álbum. "Fue un placer enorme porque su voz y su persona significan mucho para mi. Ojalá pudiera sentir a Ana como una hermana mayor", ha comentado Sole sobre esta colaboración. Todo un lujo.... También estos días están grabando lo que será el video del single, dirigido por Rafa Piqueras. No desvelan el tema, pero el video y la canción son intensos y de gran fuerza dramática y muy bello, dicen... Deseosos de verlo y oirlo todo!

The album's name is "La felicidad" ("Happiness"), produced as we have already mentioned by Javier Limon, presents us with a much more stable Sole, happier and livelier. Soledad Giménez, la que fuera vocalista de Presuntos Implicados, vuelve a la escena musical con un segundo disco en solitario (primero desde que abandonó el grupo). Poco se sabe salvo que es producido por Javier Limón. El disco saldrá en 2008.

También prometen disco su antiguo grupo, Presuntos Implicados para el nuevo año. ¿Quién será la nueva voz solista? Nada sabemos.... La página web del grupo está en construcción...

Soledad Giménez, who was Presuntos Implicados' lead vocalist, is back to the music business with her second solo-album (first since the group's breakup). Little is known about it, it's being produced by Javier Limón. The record will be released in 2008.

Her previous band Presuntos Implicados also promises a new record with the new year. Who'll be the new lead-vocalist? We don't know anything about it yet... The group's website is under construction...

El próximo 21 de noviembre se editará "Vida tóxica" el disco que nos devuelve a Luz a la vida profesional tras haber pasado una grave enfermedad que la hizo cancelar su última gira. El primer single será "Sé feliz" del que ya ha rodado un videoclip dirigido por David Trueba y que ya se puede escuchar en su página web. El disco incluye 11 canciones nuevas con letras poéticas, melodías apacibles y mensajes optimistas, todo una señal de su recuperación y renacer a una nueva vida. Con composiciones de Carlos Goñi, Luís Auserón, Pablo Guerrero y una adaptación de una canción de la cantante francesa Dalida "Il venait d'avoir 18 ans".

On the 21st November, "Vida tóxica" ("Toxic life") will be released. The album that means Luz's comeback to the musicbiz after having gone through a tough illness that made her cancell her latest tour. The first single will be "Sé feliz" ("Be happy") which already has a video directed by Spanish film-director David Trueba and that you can already listen to at her website. The album includes 11 new songs with poetic lyrics, pleasant melodies and optimistic messages, a true sign of her recovery and rebirth to a new life. With composers such as Carlos Goñi, Luís Auserón, Pablo Guerrero and a version of the French-singer Dalida's song "Il venait d'avoir 18 ans".

Se conifrma que tras ser tratada del cáncer de mama diagnosticado a principios de año, Luz ha estado grabando en los estudios Town House de Londres durante agosto lo que será su nuevo disco que se editará en noviembre. Un disco muy significativo, pues es su nuevo disco tras los duros momentos vividos este año y el que conmemorará su 25 años en la música. Y cuenta con músicos que ya han trabajado con ella anteriormente: Pino Palladino (bajo), Robbie McIntosh (guitarra), Wix (teclado) y Tino di Geraldo (batería). El disco aún no tiene título ni fecha fija de edición. Os mantendremos informados.

After being treated against a breast cancer discovered at the beginning of the year, it has been confirmed that Luz has been recording in the Town House studios in London during August for what will be her new recorded to be released in November. A very special album, as it's her new record after the hard moments she has lived this year and it will also conmemorate het 25th anniversary in the music business. It counts with the works of musicians who have already worked with her previously: Pino Palladino (bass), Rpbbie McIntosh (guitar), Wix (keyboards) and Tino di Geraldo (drums). The record hasn't got a title or a fixed release date yet- We'll keep you up with the latest news.
