Rick Parfitt, guitarrista de Status Quo, ha muerto en Marbella a los 68 años, según acaba de informar la BBC. Ha muerto por una severa infección por la que ingresó en el hospital el pasado jueves, tras una lesión de hombro. El pasado mes de octubre había comunicado que ya no seguiría tocando en la banda tras un infarto sufrido el pasado verano y múltiples problemas de salud desde 1997, aunque planeaba un álbum en solitario y una biografía para el nuevo año. DEP. Acabando mal un año nefasto para la música.
Rick Parfitt, Status Quo's guitarist, has died in Marbella at 68, as the BBC has just reported. He has died by a severe infection for which he entered hospital last Thursday, after a shoulder injury. Last October, he announced he would give up performing with the band after having suffered a heart attack in the summer and many health problems since 1997. However he planned a solo-album and a biography for next year. RIP. Bad ending for an awful year in music.

Muy poco después de lanzar su último álbum, tras haber muerto su esposa había dicho que estaba preparado para morir. Sigue este annus horribilis 2016 en cuanto a artistas se refiere. Hoy le homenajeamos con versiones de sus canciones.
We've officially known today that 82-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen passed away a few days ago. After releasing his last album not too long ago and after his wife had died and saying that he was ready to die. This 2016 annus horribilis continues as to artists is concerned. Today we pay tribute to him with covers of his songs.
Según informó el "Diario de Mallorca" hace unos días, Agnetha ha comprado un apartamento en primera línea de playa en la población mallorquina de Calvià. Ha visitado aquí varias veces a su amigo Michael (ambos en la foto en Mallorca) y se convertirá en el segundo miembro de Abba que tendrá una residencia en la isla balear.
Frida tuvo una propiedad en el Port d'Andratx antes de quedarse viuda, pero desde entonces se ha mudado a un lugar más tranquilo de montaña en el pueblo de Deià cerca de Valldemossa. Agnetha también visitó ahí a Frida en la primavera del 2014.
Matias Vallés, que escribe el artículo también dice que Björn esta considerando comprar, si no lo ha hecho ya, una propiedad en la isla.

"Diario de Mallorca" reported a few days ago that Agnetha has bought a first line coastal appartment in the town of Calvia on Mallorca. She has visited her friend Michael (both in the photo in Majorca) several times and will become the second Abba member to have a residence on the Balearic island.
Frida owned a property in Port d'Andratx before becoming a widow, but since then has moved to the quieter mountain village of Deia near Valldemossa. Agnetha also visited her there during a holiday in the spring of 2014.
Matias Valles, who wrote the article also says that Björn is considering to buy a property on the island, if he hasn't already.
