EXITO TOTAL DE TAQUILLA DE MAMMA MIA / Mamma Mia's top box office success

Mamma Mia! la película hace renacer la Abbamanía de nuevo. La película lleva más de 2 semanas encabezando la lista de las más taquilleras en el Reino Unido. Además la recopilación "Abba Gold" ha entrado de nuevo en el Top 5 británico y la banda sonora de la película es Top 7 en los Estados Unidos. Y a todo esto se une el relanzamiento de "Abba, the movie" la película que en el '77 dirigió Lasse Hallstrom con el grupo, la película se repone en Agosto en el Reino Unido, Holanda, Noruega, Alemania y Austria, en un principio. Más de 30 años después Abba sigue de moda!!!!

Apart from this, the "Abba Gold" compilation has reentered the British Top 5 and the film's soundtrack is Top 7 in the United States. Leyre (Factor-X) su nueva solista/their new vocalist

Leyre Martínez, navarra ex-finalista del programa de talentos de TV Factor-X, es la nueva solista del grupo donostiarra La Oreja de Van Gogh, después del abandono de Amaia Montero. Hoy se presentó a los medios en Madrid y ya suena en las emisoras su primer single "El último vals". El álbum saldrá en septiembre.

Leyre Martínez, from Navarra and former finalist of the TV programme Factor-X, is the new vocalist of the San Sebastian-based band La Oreja de Van Gogh, after Amaia Montero gave up the group. Today she was introduced to the media in Madrid and their first single is already aired on the radios "El último vals" ("The last waltz"). The album will be released in September.

Anoche se estrenó en su tierra natal, Estocolmo acogió el estreno de Mamma Mia, la película con todos los actores y los cuatros miembros del grupo ABBA original, sí, Agnetha incluída! La primera foto pública de los cuatro en muchos años.

Anoche se celebró en el Leicester Square londinense el estreno mundial de la versión cinematográfica de Mamma Mia! el musical basado en las canciones de Abba. A él acudieron los actores del film: Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, Julie Walters..., los productores Tom Hanks y ex-miembros de Abba Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson y Frida Reuss, de nuevo la sola excepción de Agnetha.

Last night in London's Leicester Square the worldwide première of the movie version of the successful musical based on Abba-hits Mamma Mia! was held. Lydia nueva cantante para/new singer for Presuntos Implicados.

La cantante Lydia será la nueva vocalista del grupo Presuntos Implicados en sustitución de Sole Giménez. Fue elegida entre decenas de cantantes que optaron al puesto para el nuevo proyecto musical en el que están trabajando. Lydia asumirá el reto de ocupar el lugar de Sole, quien no ha sido refrencia a la hora de buscar sustituta, según afirmó su manager Vicente Mañó. "Sole es única por lo que imitarla sería absurdo al igual que intentar alejarse demasiado de ella". Lydia se adapta muy bien al estilo de Presuntos por lo que están muy contentos: "Lydia es muy buena. No había intención de que se pareciese a Sole, pero encaja muy bien con nuestras canciones". Lydia tiene ahora 28 años, en 1999 representó a España en Eurovisión con "No quiero escuchar" quedando en 23º lugar con solo un punto y su carrera ha discurrido desde entonces en spots televisivos (la versión del "Across the universe" de los Beatles) y musicales (era María Magdalena en la última versión del "Jesucristo Superstar"). Habrá nuevo disco de Presuntos "Será" en septiembre, están trabajando en el video del primer single que empezará a oirse a finales de julio.

The singer Lydia will be the new vocalist of Presuntos Implicados instead of Sole Giménez. She was chosen among many other singers that tried to get the post for the new musical project in which they are working on. Lydia will asume the challenge of taking Sole's place, who hasn't been a reference when trying to find a new singer, according to the group's manager Vicente Mañó. "Sole is unique so trying to imitate her would be absurd and also trying to getting away from her". Lydia adapts very well to Presuntos-style so they are all very glad. "Lydia is very good. We didn't want her to be like Sole, but she fits very well in our songs". Lydia is now 28 years old, in 1999 she entered the Eurovision Song Contest for Spain with "No quiero escuchar" ("I don't want to listen") ending up at nº23 with only one point and her career has been since then on TV commercials (doing the Beatles' cover version of "Across the universe") and musicals (she was Maria Magdalena en the latest version of "Jesus Christ Superstar"). There will be new Presuntos album "Será ("It will be") in September, they're working on the video for the first single that will begin to be heard at the end of July.

SYNTEK PRODUCIRÁ A TORROJA / Syntek will produce Torroja

Se dice que el mexicano Alex Syntek será de nuevo productor del nuevo disco en solitario de Ana Torroja, con quien ya trabajó en el disco anterior de versiones de Mecano y en el exitoso dueto "Duele el amor". Parece que Alex le tiene el punto cogido de Ana... Quiere darle un giro más juvenil al nuevo material de Ana, sin parecerse en nada a lo hecho con Mecano. Además están saliendo canciones buenas y los dos están disfrutando esta etapa, según dice Alex.

It's said that the Mexican Alex Syntek will be the new producer of Ana Torroja's new solo-album, with whom she had already worked in the previous album of Mecano covers and in the successful duet "Duele el amor" ("Love hurts"). Arranca de nuevo el Papitour, versión 2008 o segunda parte. Este año Bosé se acompañará de los artistas, como ya lo hiciera en el concierto de Madrid del pasado año. Ya están agotadas las entradas de Madrid, día 12 de junio en donde estará Mikel Erentxun, Bimba y Alaska. El día 19 en Sevilla contará con la presencia de Juanes y Ana Torroja. Ayer recogió el premio "Giraldillo de Oro" en dicha ciudad, y comentó que Sevilla y él eran una pareja de hecho, por la canción que le compuso a la ciudad. Será la última vez que la cante allí, cuando acabe Papitour ya no volverá a cantar sus clásicos en una temporada larga...

The tickets for Madrid's concert on 12th June are already sold out and there he counts with the presence of Mikel Erentxun, Bimba & Alaska. Sole apareció anoche en el programa de TVE "Europasión" en donde se eligió la mejor de las canciones que España ha enviado al Eurofestival en toda su historia de un total de 11 propuestas.

Sole cantó "Vivo cantando", y entre otros estaban, Sergio Dalma con "Eres tú", Fangoria con "En un mundo nuevo", Marta Sánchez con "Contigo", Cómplices con "Tú volverás", Rosa con "La, la, la", Bustamante con "Yo soy aquél",... La canción elegida como la mejor fue "Bailar pegados" en la versión de David Civera. Incluso Rafaella Carrá, la presentadora, se atrevió con una versión del "Waterloo" de ABBA. Todas las versiones fueron supervisadas por Carlos Jean.
