ANA TORROJA: ACCIDENTE DE TRÁFICO / Car accident

El coche en que viajaba Ana's car

Como veis en la foto, así quedó el coche en el que viajaba Ana Torroja junto con su marido, la actriz Esther Arroyo y su marido y otros amigos. Desgraciadamente uno de los amigo ha muerto y otro está muy grave. Tanto Ana como Esther resultaron heridas. Ana con una fractura de clavícula, se encuentra bien y recuperándose en planta hospitalaria. Esther ha resultado con fracturas varias en sus piernas de las que ha sido operada y su pronóstico es reservado. Desde aquí nuestro deseos de pronta recuperación para ambas. Ánimo y suerte.

As you can see in the photo, that's how the car where Ana Torroja travelled together with her husband, the actress Esther Arroyo and her husband and other friends. Unfortunately one of their friends has died and another one has serious injuries. Both Ana and Esther have been injured. Ana with broken ribs, is now fine and recovering in hospital. Esther has broken legs and has been operated on, her situation is in observation. From here our best wishes for their quick recovery. Good luck.

TERCER ÁLBUM DE DIDO / Dido's third album

Dido regresa con su tercer álbum después de 5 años (sin contar su CD-DVD en vivo). Se trata de "Safe trip home" ("Viaje de vuelta seguro"), producido por Jon Brion, que se editará en noviembre. Aunque a partir del 16 de septiembre se empezará a escuchar por la radio "Don't believe in love" ("No creo en el amor") su primer sencillo.

Dido is back with her third album after 5 years (without counting her live CD-DVD). It's "Safe trip home" , produced by Jon Brion, that will be released in November. But from the 16th September we'll be able to listen on the radio to her first single from the album "Don't believe in love".

La ABBAmanía ha vuelto otra vez. Consultados las listas hemos visto que la película sigue cosechando éxitos en las carteleras británicas y norteamericanas, codo con codo con la nueva de Batman. En las listas musicales la banda sonora y los recopilatorios originales del grupo siguen arriba. En Inglaterra: "Gold" es nº2, "Mamma Mia!" la banda sonora es nº1 y el DVD de "ABBA Gold" es nº1 cara uno en su lista correspondiente, en EEUU la banda sonora sigue de nº1!!! En España la película es 2ª en recaudación tras "El caballero oscuro", sin datos de la banda sonora.

ABBAmania is back! Looking at the charts we've seen the film is still having box office success in Britain & the States, fighting against the new Batman movie. On the music charts the film's soundtrack and the original group compilations are still high up. In Britain: "Gold" is nº2, "Mamma mia" the soundtrack is nº1 & the DVD "Abba Gold" is nº1each of them on the corresponding chart, in the USA the soundtrack is still nº1!!! Swedish pop group Abba's compilation "Gold" is once again nº1 in the British charts 16 years after its first release. The album which holds all the group's greatest hits was originally released in 1992, since then it has been nº1 four times and has sold more than 26 million copies. Mamma Mia! la película hace renacer la Abbamanía de nuevo. La película lleva más de 2 semanas encabezando la lista de las más taquilleras en el Reino Unido. Además la recopilación "Abba Gold" ha entrado de nuevo en el Top 5 británico y la banda sonora de la película es Top 7 en los Estados Unidos. Y a todo esto se une el relanzamiento de "Abba, the movie" la película que en el '77 dirigió Lasse Hallstrom con el grupo, la película se repone en Agosto en el Reino Unido, Holanda, Noruega, Alemania y Austria, en un principio. Más de 30 años después Abba sigue de moda!!!!

Apart from this, the "Abba Gold" compilation has reentered the British Top 5 and the film's soundtrack is Top 7 in the United States. Leyre Martínez, navarra ex-finalista del programa de talentos de TV Factor-X, es la nueva solista del grupo donostiarra La Oreja de Van Gogh, después del abandono de Amaia Montero. Hoy se presentó a los medios en Madrid y ya suena en las emisoras su primer single "El último vals". El álbum saldrá en septiembre.

Leyre Martínez, from Navarra and former finalist of the TV programme Factor-X, is the new vocalist of the San Sebastian-based band La Oreja de Van Gogh, after Amaia Montero gave up the group. Today she was introduced to the media in Madrid and their first single is already aired on the radios "El último vals" ("The last waltz"). The album will be released in September.
