La velada de gala de SVT para celebrar a Abba tiene lugar el mismo día de la victoria en Brighton, el sábado 6 de abril, 50 años después.
La velada de gala tendrá lugar en el Cirkus de Estocolmo frente a un público. Entre otras cosas, los artistas interpretarán canciones clásicas de Abba. SVT aún no quiere revelar quién será.

SVT 's gala evening to celebrate Abba takes place on the same day as the victory in Brighton, Saturday 6 April, 50 years later.
It just so happens that April 6 is a Saturday, just like it was 50 years ago. So then we will make a kind of disco party of the whole SVT that evening, says Christina Hill, program manager for culture, entertainment and lifestyle at SVT.
The gala evening will take place at Cirkus in Stockholm in front of an audience. Among other things, artists will perform Abba's classic songs. SVT does not yet want to reveal who it will be.
- But of course it will be an artist line-up with very fine artists who will be on stage.
SVT has been in contact with Abba and received the go-ahead for the gala, but it is uncertain whether the notoriously media-shy members intend to appear at Cirkus.
- We don't really know that. We want to pay attention and pay tribute to them. And of course it happens it will be a tribute and they know that we do it. They are very warmly welcome. But formal invitations haven't gone out yet, so we'll see.
Abba has continued to attract new generations of fans from all over the world thanks to the "Mamma Mia" musical which led to two films and then also the Abba Voyage show in London. They also inspire today's artists. SVT therefore hopes to be able to offer some international stars to the gala.

The TV gala from Cirkus will be the culmination of a whole week of celebrating Abba on SVT in several different programs.
- It will really be felt all week in SVT that it is ABBA's anniversary.
The celebration comes fittingly for SVT, where the Abbagalan will be a sort of prelude to the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Malmö in May.
- It's very fun and full of joy and then it will be extra nice that we will also do an ESC final a month later, so it will be a very fun spring in SVT.
