- Many professional groups are now on their knees during the progress of the pandemic and I want this evening to contribute to paying tribute to the professional groups that are in my vicinity but which may never be visible at the front of the microphone or in front of the camera. This is an evening for everyone who keep music in Sweden alive, says Martin Stenmarck.

- It is an honor to host this evening. Personally, I want to contribute in whatever way I can to help the entire entertainment ecosystem, all professional groups and different parts of the event industry, to have a reasonable chance of surviving this pandemic. Music heals. Music is needed. The evening is a tribute to all of music Sweden, says Sarah Dawn Finer.

VERSIONES "SA MYCKET BATTRE" covers (HELEN SJÖHOLM & LOREEN)

Several of our favourite Swedes Helen Sjöholm & Robin Bengtsson, are singers who have given voice to a charity song against Covid-19 in Sweden with the song "VI HALLER UT". Up to there everything normal, just another charity song. But the funny thing is that it's the Swedish version of the famous Duo Dinamico's "RESISTIRÉ".

+ info: [Scandipop]
What’s this? A whole host of Swedish artists and musicians (around 50 in total) have got together to record a song and video – ‘Vi Håller Ut’ – dedicated to Sweden’s fight against Covid-19. It is a cover of the Spanish classic ‘Resistiré’, by Dúo Dinámico, with Swedish text by Ingela ”Pling” Forsman.
What does ‘Vi Håller Ut’ mean? We wait it out, we see it through, we endure.
Who is taking part? Amongst the talent giving their time and vocals are Helene Sjöholm, Sarah Dawn Finer, Mariette, Jessica Andersson, Dolly Style, Therese Grankvist, Robin Bengtsson, Magnus Carlsson, Sean Banan, The Lovers Of Valdaro and Johan Becker. But you can find a full list of credits under the YouTube video (in Swedish).
And what’s it like? It’s really the best kind of song for something like this – an infectiously uplifting bop and a half!

BENNY & BJÖRN: NUEVOS PROYECTOS POR SEPARADO / New separate projects

BAO: "TOMTEN HAR ÅKT HEM"

Saucedo & Körberg "I CAN SEE MYSELF IN YOU"

Two new projects from Abba's males, though this time separately:

A Christmas album released by  BAO (Benny Anderssons Orkester) on November 14th titled "TOMTEN HAR ÅKT HEM" ("Santa Claus has gone home"), with old and new Christmas songs. The new ones written by Benny and in the usual voices of Helen Sjöholm & Tommy Körberg. Apart from this there'll be a pack of 5 CDs and 2 DVDs collecting the band's career so far. Each CD has a different theme: one with Helen's voice, another with folk songs, another live, another with Helen, Tommy & Kalle Moreus' voices and the Christmas Cd before mentioned.

Meanwhile Björn writes for Tobias Gustavsson's music in an epic ballad with Nordic melancholy in the single "I CAN SEE MYSELF IN YOU". The song will be premiered live at the opening ceremony of the Friends Arena on October 27th.

We'll try to update with audio/video...
