ABBA REUNION 2024: ROYAL VASA ORDER @ ROYAL PALACE STOCKHOLM

 Y finalmente ABBA se reunió 50 años después, pero no fue por Eurovisión ni por el segundo aniversario de Voyage, fue para recibir la Real Orden de Vasa de manos de los Reyes de Suecia en el Palacio Real de Estocolmo. ¡Enhorabuena merecida!

And finally there has been an ABBA reunion 50 years after, but it wasn't for Eurovision or for the second anniversary of Voyage, it was to receive the Royal Vasa Order from the hands of the King and Queen of Sweden at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Deserved congratulations!

 Hemos encontrado unas rarezas de versiones de canciones de ABBA en las voces del cantante estadounidense John Grant, que perteneció al grupo the Czars, junto con el cantante irlandés Conor O'Brien. Versionan "ANGELEYES" y "MY LOVE, MY LIFE" estupendamente.

We've found some rarity covers of ABBA's songs in the voices of the American singer John Grant, who formed part of the band the Czars, together with Irish singer Conor O'Brien. Wonderfully covering "ANGELEYES" & "MY LOVE, MY LIFE".

ABBA'S 50º EUROVISION 2024 TRIBUTE

 

Finalmente Eurovisión 2024 sí homenajeó a ABBA, no con su presencia real pero sí con la presencia de sus abbatares y la interpretación de tres ganadores del festival, Carola, Charlotte Perrelli y Conchita Wurst, versionando "WATERLOO". Además otros temas del grupo "GIMME! GIMME! GIMME!" y "THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL" sonaron durante la gala.

Finally Eurovision 2024 did pay tribute to ABBA, not with their real presence but through the presence of their abbatars and the performance of three contest winners, Carola, Charlotte Perrelli & Conchita Wurst, covering "WATERLOO". Other of their hits "GIMME! GIMME! GIMME!" & "THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL" were heard during the show.
