Ana recibió hoy en Toledo, la medalla de Oro de las Bellas Artes en una ceremonia presidida por los Príncipes de Asturias. Además anuncia una gira por teatros en 2008 que recorrerá las importantes capitales: Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Coruña, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Murcia... que recalá en mayo en el Teatro Gran Vía de Madrid.

Asimismo, el 5 de febrero se editará "No hay nada mejor que escribir una canción" el nuevo disco de su marido Víctor Manuel, quien acaba de publicar un libro "Vivir para cantarlo" que incluye las letras de 500 de sus canciones con comentarios.

Ana has received the Golden Medal of the Arts today in Toledo in a ceremony where the Princes of Asturias were present. She announces a tour in theatres throughtout the country in 2008 including: Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Coruña, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Murcia.... stopping in May in the Gran Vía Theatre in Madrid.

On 5th February, her husband Victor Manuel will be publishing his new album "No hay nada mejor que escribir una canción" ("There's nothing better than writing a song"). He has also just published a book "Vivir para cantarlo" ("Live to sing it") that includes the lyrics of 500 of his songs and some comments.

A las dos semanas de editar su último trabajo tras el parón por la enfermedad, Luz es ya Disco de Oro por más de 40.000 copias vendidas de "Vida tóxica".

In only a fortnight after the release of her latest album after the break because of her illness, Luz is already Golden Record for selling more than 40.000 copies of her "Vida tóxica" (Toxic life).

El disco se llamará "La felicidad", producido como ya adelantamos por Javier Limón, nos presenta una Sole más serena, más pletórica y vitalista. Es todo un renacimiento para ella y cuenta con muchas y buenas colaboraciones: Josemi Carmona (ex Ketama) en las guitarras para "El sol", la armónica de Antonio Serrano en "Volverá a encontrar la ilusión de vivir" y Perico Sambeat es el saxo del primer single "Tan sola". Pero la colaboración más preciada es la de Ana Belén en el tema que da título al álbum. "Fue un placer enorme porque su voz y su persona significan mucho para mi. Ojalá pudiera sentir a Ana como una hermana mayor", ha comentado Sole sobre esta colaboración. Todo un lujo.... También estos días están grabando lo que será el video del single, dirigido por Rafa Piqueras. No desvelan el tema, pero el video y la canción son intensos y de gran fuerza dramática y muy bello, dicen... Deseosos de verlo y oirlo todo!

The album's name is "La felicidad" ("Happiness"), produced as we have already mentioned by Javier Limon, presents us with a much more stable Sole, happier and livelier. It means a rebirth for her and it counts with many and good collaborations: Josemi Carmona (ex Ketama) plays guitars for "El sol" ("The sun"), Antonio Serrano plays the harmonica on "Volverá a encontrar la ilusión de vivir" ("She'll find the will to live again") and Perico Sambeat plays the saxo on the first single "Tan sola" ("So alone"). But the most precious collaboration is Ana Belen's on the song that gives title to the album. "It has been a great pleasure because her voice and her person mean so much to me. I hope I could feel Ana as an older sister", said Sole about this collaboration. A luxury all in all... The video of the first single is also being shot these days, directed by Rafa Piqueras. The subject matter isn't told, but video and song are both intense, of great dramatic strength and very beautiful, so they say... Looking forward to listening & watching it all!
